I can remember like it was yesterday taking the CCATT design to a local emblem maker in downtown San Antonio and the secretary asking what colors I would like the patch to be manufactored in. Being a MIZZOU alumni I said "black and gold"! Although the gold is more of a yellow I still got one over on all the jayhawk fans!! Our first CCATT deployment to Cuba/Haiti was a hugh success considering we were under the microscope by so many in the air evac system wishing we would fail at that time.
